That's right, 'Doomsday' is upon us (no, not our Doomsday, this is a whole other 'Doomsday'), as Namco gives us a brief glimpse into the destructive and deliciously appealing world of mechs. Check it out:

As promised, BioWare releases a demo for Mass Effect 3 via Xbox Live, giving gamers a chance to try out two singe-player missions. You'll also get early access to the game's multiplayer mode (providing you own an online pass from Battlefield 3).

The demo weighs 1.7GB and it "begins in dramatic fashion with the spectacular attack on Earth, followed by a mid-game section showcasing the groundbreaking interactive storytelling, adrenaline-pumping action, ruthless and intelligent enemies, and deep customization that make Mass Effect 3 the must-have title of 2012."

The PC edition of the demo is going to go live later today, which also goes for the PS3 version.

BioWare want you to know that there's a game out there called Star Wars: The Old Republic and that if you didn't start playing it already, well, you should. Here's the trailer explaining how you can begin your journey:

On a more important note, folks, you've read my thoughts on Kingdoms of Amalur. So, there. Believe what you'd like, but that's just how I feel about the game. It's a damn shame too. It had potential.
