Day 1 Studios has announced that they are working on a brand new game, called Reign of Thunder. Day 1 Studios has a number of solid games under its belt, including MechAssault, MechAssault 2: Lone Wolf, F.E.A.R. (Xbox 360, PS3), Fracture and F.E.A.R. 3 (hm, well, forget Fracture, because that was a steamy pile of dung).

At any rate, the development studio unveiled Reign of Thunder to be an "all new Mech IP," and I think we all waited a long time for such an announcement.

Um, I miss MechWarrior? Also, why am I getting that "standard multiplayer co-op shooter" vibe?

UFC Undisputed 3 kicked FIFA 12's ass in the UK and has also outsold last week's champion, Kingdoms of Amalur, which, oddly enough, is nowhere to be seen on the latest top 10 chart. Hm, maybe it's because people realized it wasn't much of an experience after all. Good RPGs are those you want to play more than once. Amalur doesn't exactly make me want to jump back into action after the first go.

The development team over at Ubisoft talks a bit about the animation and cover system in the approaching tactical shooter Ghost Recon: Future Soldier:

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is going to be available on May 22 (US) and May 24 (Europe) for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.

So, yeah, I played Syndicate for a bit and guess what you have to do when the game starts? Go on, guess...

AT COMIC: The FPS Training Program

Last time I was happy during a Monday morning was when my boss beckoned me to his office and then told me that I'm about to get a raise. My moment of sheer happiness lasted for about two seconds, until I was politely told that it was all a joke. Normally, the fucker should get an ashtray up his nostril for such tasteless gags, but he was my boss and I desperately needed the job, well, as much as any person desperately needs their job. Oh and by the way, this was during that one special year when I left AT to discover the wonders of the local job market. So, no, it wasn't 2lions. One thing I can tell you about 2lions a is that he respects people who work hard, because he works hard himself.

Now, back to the matters at hand. Let's post the comic, shall we and lemme see if there's any news bits to be found this morning. Oh and I tried Syndicate last night. I dunno. It's classic, hectic shooter. Not too bad actually, but I'm only a few missions into the experience, so sit tight for our full review on that.
