NOTE: As their name suggests hints are not exactly Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen cheats, and are usually just simple (but very useful) tips on how you can unlock secret level, features, find hidden areas and such. Hopefully these will make playing Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen even more entertaining.
Change the world map music
To change the world map music, all eight characters must first join the hero's group in Chapter 5 (after defeating the Marquis de Léon). Change the music by changing the first member of the party after doing so.
Chapter 1 world map music: Have Ragnar in the front of the party
Chapter 2 world map music: Have Alena, Kiryl, or Borya in the front of the party
Chapter 3 world map music: Have Torneko in the front of the party
Chapter 4 battle music in Chapter 5 and 6: Have both Meena and Maya in the front of the party
Chapter 4 world map music: Have Meena or Maya in the front of the party
Chapter 5 (after defeating the Marquis de Léon) world map music: Have the hero in the front of the party, with at least one other party member present
Chapter 5 (prior to defeating the Marquis de Léon) world map music: Have only the hero in the party
Psaro's theme: Have Psaro in the front of the party (in Chapter 6)
