Main Cheat Codes
NOTE: These are the main Galactic Civilizations 2: Dread Lords cheats that are usually applied by pressing down the right key combination. Please find the instructions on how to use these cheats below.
Cheat mode
Start the game with the "cheat" command line parameter (for example: "C:\Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming\GalCiv2\galciv2.exe" cheat). Then, enter one of the following codes to enable the corresponding cheat function:
[Ctrl] + P - Add 1 to planet class
[Ctrl] + M - Add 10,000 BC
[Ctrl] + B - Add battleship
[Ctrl] + L - Assign remaining planets to major races
[Ctrl] + C - Clone selected ship
[Ctrl] + J - Complete social projects
[Ctrl] + H - Heal selected ship
[Ctrl] + R - Research current tech
[Ctrl] + N - Restart on new map with new race
[Ctrl] + F - Display FPS
[Ctrl] + S - Save game
[Ctrl] + T - Teleport selected ship to pointer
[Ctrl] + V - United planets meeting
[Ctrl] + A - Upgrade selected ship
[Ctrl] + <0-9> - Hail's major races
[Shift] + [Ctrl] + R - Research all techs
