Revisit last Sanctum
Hold L + R + Start while loading a saved game.
Auto-scrolling dialogue
Holding A + B while talking to people will auto-scroll the
dialogue. For example, do this at the start of the game while
talking to Alex.
Music test
Select battle mode then hold R when speaking to the woman
on the left side of the screen. Press Left or Right to choose
a song number and press A to listen to your selection. Press
B to return to the selection screen. Note: Songs must be unlocked
during game play.
At the black logo screen, hold L + R + Left and press B. A new option will appear. Select it to get "Password" or "Link". This lets you send cleared Golden Sun data to the next installment. Make sure you have completed Golden Sun and have a "clear data" on your save.

Easy and hard difficulty setting
Successfully complete the game to create a "Clear Data" saved
game. Note: You also need an empty saved game slot. Select
the "New Game" option at the main menu. After the data transfer
prompt, you will be asked if you want to play in easy mode.
Answer "No" and you will be asked if you want to play in hard
mode.
Revisit towns
Once you get the Teleport Psyenergy, you can use it on the
world map to go to any town previously visited.
Original Golden Sun battle music
When you meet up with Isaac and the others and can put them
on your team, make it so Isaac, Garet, Ivan, and Mia are your
battle party members. When you engage in a battle, the original
Golden Sun battle theme will play.
Rename characters
When you are about to enter a new name for Robin, press Select,
Select, Select. Enter Robin's new name, then you can now enter
new names for Ivan, Garett and Mia as well. Press Up, Down,
Up, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, Up, Right, Down, Left,
Up, Select to enter even more names.
Get to crossbone island
When you have to replace crew members replace them in this
order: Guy with long hair, Bald guy, Cook and Old man.
Go to Suhalla Desert to where you got your Fire Djinn and continue through the path and there will be a Pink Tornado...dont use Douse on it and it will take you to crossbone island.
Erase peoples minds
First save the game. Go up to someone, hold R and press B
twice then read their mind once. Right after that press Start
and save the game, but before it says "The game has been saved"
Close your gameboy. You should be at the last place you saved.
Walk up to the person and read their mind, it should be erased.
