Main Cheat Codes
NOTE: These are the main NHL 2002 cheats that are usually applied by pressing down the right key combination. Please find the instructions on how to use these cheats below.
Extra Teams and Points
When you turn on the game, wait for the press start screen to fully load. Then, hold select, alternate pressing "L" and "R" while the select button is still being held. When the main menu eventually appears, you should hear "It's in the game." This gives you two extra teams in the play now mode, and 1000 points to use in the create a player mode!
Hints
NOTE: As their name suggests hints are not exactly NHL 2002 cheats, and are usually just simple (but very useful) tips on how you can unlock secret level, features, find hidden areas and such. Hopefully these will make playing NHL 2002 even more entertaining.
Zamboni at Start
Hold L+R while turning on the game and a zamboni will drive by.
