Main Cheat Codes

NOTE: These are the main Super Mario Advance 2 cheats that are usually applied by pressing down the right key combination. Please find the instructions on how to use these cheats below.

Erase all data
To Erase all data, On start up hold down A+B+Start+Select+L+R (may take a couple of seconds) and it will prompt up with a message saying "Do you want to erase all data" If so select Yes, If not select No
NOTE: ERASED DATA CANNOT BE RECOVERED

Beat Tutular with ease
To beat tubular with ease go to top secret area and get 2 capes then go back to tubular and fly off the first platform to the end of the level.

Get loads of life
To use these Super Mario Advance 2 Cheats go to star world 3 with yoshi. When you get into the level collect the life that comes out of the yoshi egg then hit the grey P button then avoid the coins that are thrown out by the lakitu and slowly walk (still avoiding the coins, there should be 3 or 4 on screen) towards the goal and when you pass it a notice should fly accross the screen that says "14 - up" just repeat this until you get as many lives as you need.

Fly
To be able to fly in Gnarly(Special), come with Yoshi and go to the right rope bridge. Stick Yoshi's tongue out until he reaches the blue Koopa. Now is the time to FLY, FLY, FLYYYYY!!!! (Note: If you are caped you don't have to reapeatdly press the A button, You can just hold it.)

Bowser At Ending Screen rating
If you look closely at the ending image (where it asks you to press start), you can see a shadow of Bowser in the top left.

Change the game to it's Alternate Form
Complete all 96 goals in the game to make the game change to it's Alternate look. This changes the World Map's color, Enemies and more

Instant Warp
Once you've cleared all 96 Goals, you will then be able to warp to any point on the map via the Status Screen. On the Map Screen, press Select to access the Status Screen. You will now see a little white arrow to the left of each course name. Choose a course and press A. Mario (or Luigi) will be automatically warped to that part of the world map. This will save lots of time trudging from one part of the map to the next. Enjoy!

Extra Levels From Star Road
If you find and complete the alternate (key) exits in all Star Road levels, you will unlock a set of special levels accessible from the mountain in the middle of the main Star Road map.

Secret Level
At the first Ghost House, have a feather. Go backwards instead of forward and fly up to the sky. Continue on the platform in the sky until the end of the level where there will be a new exit. Go through the exit to unlock an extra level which you can stock up on unlimited mushrooms, fireballs, feathers, lives, and Yoshi.

High Score Stars rating
A star will appear next to the Super Mario high-score (game selection screen) for every 1,000,000 points you earn in-game. The maximum is 5,000,000. After this no more stars will be awarded, but your high-score will still rise.

SNES/Famicom Logo (Special World) rating
In the Special World, you can see a small yellow mark at the top of the screen. Use the 'L' trigger to scroll up to reveal the Super Nintendo/Famicom logo.
