Extra Weapons for Leech Hunter
Earning a rank in the Leech Hunter mini-game will give you bonuses to use in the game. Here are the rankings and what they will give you:
E (1-29): Submachine gun bullets
D (90-99): Handgun
C (60-89): Hunting Gun
B (30-59): Magnum
A (100): All weapons
Easy kill with Magnum Revolver
If you have the magnum revolve and you want to kill a leech humanoid without using a fire type weapon, just point your gun at its feet. You won't have to worry about any leech.
To lay down zombies faster, lock on to them by holding the R trigger, then rapidly tap the A button swiftly instead of holding it down for semi-auto fire. Your character should fire more quickly.
Green Chemical
When you get the green chemical from either the container in the infirmary or underneath the church, you can use it to heal your poison status.
Rebecca's Dodge
Press and hold the R trigger then quickly release and press again. If done correctly, Rebecca should step/dodge backwards quickly to avoid damage. Works best on zombies in close quarters.
Skip First Leech-zombie Fight
When you encounter the first leech zombie (the creatures that are made out of leeches) and have to fight it, you can skip the fight entirely. Simply attempt to walk back down the staircase, and the game will skip to the cut scene that would occur should you stay and fight. It's not much of an advantage in Easy, but in Normal and Hard, this can save you health and ammo.
