While playing, press [~] (tilde) to bring down the console, then type any of the following cheat codes. Note: Make sure to capitalize family member names, settlement names, and anything else that needs capitalizing or else it will not work.

Add traits to ALL characters
To add traits to any character in the game (including those with 2-names) move the character outside of any city or fortress and select him. You should be able so see the large green movement field.
Open up the cheat console by pressing the tilde key ("~") and enter the following: give_trait this GoodAttacker
Instead of "GoodAttacker" you can add any trait you desire. The following list of traits is the work of wtfmate64 and Diamonddust2XXX."
Traits with numerals following the trait-name can have any number up-to the number listed. The "strength" of each trait will increase with it's value for these traits.
This cheat command works on all generals, diplomats, princesses, merchants and priests in the game.

As mentioned above, enter the console with the [~] key. This is a list of the various ancillaries (retinue members) that can be added with the give_ancillary command. This code requires you to have the character that you wish to modify selected, as well.
give_ancillary this ANCILLARYNAME
Below is a list of ancillaries (with their ANCILLARYNAME) that can be given to Spies and/or Assassins
NOTE: For the ones marked "TRAIT", use the command:
give_trait this TRAITNAME #
instead to give the agent the specified trait (capitalization matters). Read my above post on traits for more information.

courtesan +1 to agent's skill
pickpocket +1 to agent's skill
dancer +2 to agent's skill
GoodSaboteur 3 TRAIT +1-3 to assassin's saboteur skill

Special Ancillaries and Traits for Priests
Select the priest unit to effect with the cursor and open console with ~ key. Using : give_trait this : the words should be together in a string with each separate word starting with a uppercase ex. PriestLevel # . Using : give_ancillary this : the words should be lowercase and separated by a _ ex. choir_boy. Some traits only have a certain level so exceeding it will null, also if you use the high end of the scale it can change your units name or have some negative effects.

create_unit "settlement or character" "unit ID" "amount (1-5)" "experience (1-9)" "armor (1-3)" "weapon (1-3)"
Example: creat_unit "London" Longbowmen 2 9 3 3 - will create 2 units of Longbowmen in London with 3 Gold Chevrons, Level 3 armor and Level 3 weapon.
Unlock All Factions
This cheat involves editing a game file. ALWAYS MAKE A BACKUP BEFORE PROCEEDING.
Open the [game folder]\Data\world\maps\campaign\imperial_campaign\descr_strat.txt file with Notepad. You will see a list of the nations you can use in the beginning, the unlockable ones and the non-playables. Cut and paste the unlockable factions to the playable nations. Save the file. Now go back to the game and complete a campaign mode and all of the factions will be unlocked. Do not copy the end non-playables.
