NOTE: As their name suggests hints are not exactly Nocturne cheats, and are usually just simple (but very useful) tips on how you can unlock secret level, features, find hidden areas and such. Hopefully these will make playing Nocturne even more entertaining.

Let Svetlana kill as many vampires as possible in the village of Falkenberg. The ammo you save here will be badly needed when the two of you split up at Castle Gaustadt.

Before heading into the town of Redeye, be sure to grab the shovel propped up against the tombstone outside the church. It's actually quite effective against even two zombies at a time, especially if you can back up against a wall or door and limit the angles from which enemies can attack.

Several of the game's cinematic scenes are immediately followed by attacks from enemies--be ready to start blasting as soon as any cut scene is finished.

Explore every room and area possible, including the bloody remains of zombies, vampires, and monsters. Hidden areas often contain ammo or health power-ups, and enemies sometimes carry keys to unlock doors.
