Main Cheat Codes

NOTE: These are the main Operation Flashpoint cheats that are usually applied by pressing down the right key combination. Please find the instructions on how to use these cheats below.

Hold [Left Shift] and press [Keypad Minus] at the indicated screen. Release the keys, then type one of the following codes to activate the corresponding cheat function:

savegame - Saves Game (Gameplay Screen)
endmission - End Mission (Gameplay Screen)
campaign - Unlock Levels (Main Menu)
topography - Unknown Effect (Gameplay Screen)
iwillbetheone - God Mode (Gameplay Screen)... NOTE: This cheat is probably a fake one.

For example, enter campaign code at the main menu screen.

Save Game More Than Once
While playing press [Alt]+[Tab] to switch to Desktop and then go into the "\User\dein_nahme\save\" subdir of the game install dir. In one of the subdirs you'll find save.fps file. Delete it, press [Alt]+[Tab] to switch to game and you'll be able to use the save function again!

Full Ammo
On the second level on campaign mode when your officer shouts go go go! Immediately type in moreammo and you will get full ammo.

Full Ammo (another method)
You can have infinite ammo without editing or hacks. If you just reload your gun while you still have ammo, it will give you full ammo and it will not take away a clip. It has worked on the m16 and the ak47. NOTE: This doesn't actually give you more ammo. The partially empty clip returns to your gear, but if you reload your weapon enough, you will re-insert the partially-used clip. The clip doesn't disappear from your equipment, as noted in the "cheat" but it is not refilled, so you don't actually gain anything. (thanks: Micha)

Bonus Level
After you beat the gamem watch through all the credits and let it go through all the loading screens. After the credits are over it will start a scene with the black ops guy talking on the phone to Dave (Armstrong, the inf. guy) After the scene you get to fly a Cessna into the Everon airport and pick up all the other characters that you got to play and take them to a pub.

NOTE: It's important to note that using any cheat code or modifying the code for Operation Flashpoint will activate the FADE feature. This will result in reduced weapon accuracy, problems loading, until eventually your computer will not even recognize the CD in your drive. Once this happens, you have to uninstall the game, delete the OFP folder and clear the entry from your registry in order to play the game again. (thanks: Troy Kochner)

More Cheat Codes

To alter the amount of ammo available to each weapon or magazine simply edit the weapons.cfg file found in the 'saved' folder contained within your user folder. NOTE: Backup files before proceeding!

The weapons.cfg file defines weapon classes where u can change the ammo amounts.

Once changed you will need to re-start your mission or continue your campaign for the changes to take effect. These changes are often reset at the beginning of new missions/campaings requiring you to alter the new cfg file for that particular mission.

Hints

NOTE: As their name suggests hints are not exactly Operation Flashpoint cheats, and are usually just simple (but very useful) tips on how you can unlock secret level, features, find hidden areas and such. Hopefully these will make playing Operation Flashpoint even more entertaining.

Evac level
Use the following tactic in the Evac level where you have to drive a truck. Go to this grid code to join the Guerillas Fia EA64. On the map there will be a code 113. Drive your truck there. An intermission sequence will appear, then the level will end. You will be a hostage for the Soviets. Stay in the tent on the next level until the Russian that is guarding you dies. Then, go outside and one of the guerrillas will talk to you.

Demo Cheat Codes

Invincibility
Start your mission and go until you get to the helicopter. Wait a few seconds and jump out of the helicopter. Jump out before they start screaming about the helicopter getting hit. You will become invincible until you go to the Target area and finish the level.
