NOTE: As their name suggests hints are not exactly Devil May Cry 2 cheats, and are usually just simple (but very useful) tips on how you can unlock secret level, features, find hidden areas and such. Hopefully these will make playing Devil May Cry 2 even more entertaining.
Unlock Bloody Palace Mode
Beat the game with both Dante and Lucia to unlock Bloody Palace
Mode. Bloody good!
Unlock Bonus Costumes
Beat the game on any difficulty to unlock Dante's first costume,
and beat it on Dante Must Die Mode to unlock his second. Beat
the game on any difficulty to unlock Lucia's first costume,
and beat it on Hard Mode (with Lucia) to unlock her second.
Beat the game on Lucia Must Die Mode to unlock the third costume.
Unlock Dante Must Die Mode
To unlock Dante Must Die Mode, beat the game on Hard with Dante.
To unlock Dante Must Die Mode, beat the game on Hard with Dante.
Unlock Lucia Must Die Mode
To unlock Lucia Must Die Mode, beat the game on Hard with
Lucia.
Unlock Mission Select
To unlock mission select, beat the game once with either Lucia
or Dante.
Unlock Trish
To unlock Trish, beat the game on Hard with Dante.
Main Cheat Codes
NOTE: These are the main Devil May Cry 2 cheats that are usually applied by pressing down the right key combination. Please find the instructions on how to use these cheats below.
Get Easy Difficulty
To access Easy difficulty, intentionally use continues while
completing one of the first three levels. An option for the
easy difficulty setting will appear when starting then next
level. Once easy difficulty is selected, you will be locked
into that setting for the remainder of the current game.
Get Hard difficulty
To Get Hard difficulty setting, successfully complete the
game once.
Get Legendary dark knight mode
Successfully complete the game under the hard difficulty setting.
You will be able to play as Sparda in this mode.
Get Dante must die mode
Successfully complete the game in Legendary Dark knight mode.
