Half a Century of Cars (Bronze): Own at least one car from the '60s, '70s, 80's, '90s, and '00s.
Maximum Mileage (Bronze): Buy a used car with 300,000km or more travel distance.
High Roller (Bronze): Bought a seriously expensive car.
Sky-High Roller (Bronze): Buy an insanely expensive car.
Speed Demon (Bronze): Achieve a speed of 300km/h.
111 Meters a Second (Bronze): Achieve a speed of 400 km/h.
Within One Hundredth (Bronze): Win a race by a margin of 0.01 seconds or less.
Arch Rivals (Bronze): Achieve a one-two finish in a Mistubishi Lancer Evolution X and a Subaru IMPREZA WRX STI.
Dream Race (Bronze): Win the ultimate three-way showdown between a Ford Mark IV Race Car, a Ferrari 330 P4 Race Car.
GT-R Official Record (Bronze): Achieve a time of 7'29.03 on the Nurburgring Nordschleife in a Nissan GT-R '07.
Human Stopwatch (Bronze): Complete three consecutive laps with time within 0.2 seconds of the Best Lap Time.
A Star is Born (Bronze): Train a B-Spec driver up to Class 30 or above.
The Air of Experience (Bronze): Raise a B-Spec driver to the peak of his career.
Colorful (Bronze): Collect 256 paint colors.
Penniless (Bronze): Spend every last Credit you have.
Excellent Driver (Silver): Reach A-Spec Level 40.
Expert Manager (Silver): Reach B-Spec Level 40.
Finale (Silver): Reach the ending movie.
Gold Standard (Gold): Get a gold trophy in every race event, license test, and special event.
Gran Turismo Platinum Trophy (Platinum): Earn every single Gran Turismo 5 trophy.

License Tests
This is what you must do to unlock the following license tests.

A License Tests: Reach level 3 and complete the B license tests.
B License Tests: Buy your first car.
International A License Tests: Reach level 12 and complete the International B license tests.
International B License Tests: Reach level 9 and complete the International C license tests.
International C License Tests: Reach level 6 and complete the A license tests.
S License Tests: Reach level 15 and complete the International A license tests.

Unlock Tracks
Unlocking these tracks will allow use in both Arcade mode and Practice. Getting gold will unlock bronze and silver rewards as well.

Nürburgring Nordschleife (With and without time/weather): Complete all of AMG Challenge Intermediate with at least bronze.
Nürburgring Nordschleife 24 hour circuit (With time/weather change): Complete all of AMG Challenge Intermediate with gold.
Nürburgring Nordschleife 4 hour circuit (No time/weather change): Complete all of AMG Challenge Intermediate with at least silver.
Top Gear Test Track: Complete Top Gear Challange Beginner with gold.

Unlockable Events
You will unlock new racing events by reaching certain levels in the game.

AMG Driving Academy: Reach level 06
Endurance Series: Reach level 25
Gran Turismo Karting Experience: Reach level 01
Gran Turismo Rally: Reach level 10
Grand Tour: Reach level 13
Jeff Gordon NASCAR School: Reach level 02
Sebastian Vettel Challenge: Reach level 30
S'bastien Loeb Rally Challenge: Reach level 16
Top Gear Test Track: Reach level 04

Unlockable Cars
Complete these specific events to unlock the following cars. S for Standard cars, P for Premium cars.

Daihatsu OFC-1 Concept '07 (P): Achieve at least all silver medals in B license tests.
Mazda Atenza Concept '01 (S): Achieve at least all silver medals in A license tests.
Mazda Demio Sport '03 (S): Achieve at least all bronze medals in B license tests.
Nissan mm-R Cup Car '01 (S): Achieve at least all bronze medals in A license tests.
TommyKaira ZZ-S '00 (S): Achieve all gold medals in B license tests.

Unlockable Tickets
Complete the following to unlock tickets redeemable in Gran Turismo 5 for a random car in that ticket's class. Tickets are sent to "Car Delivery" from the GT Life main menu.
