Red Faction Cheats

Almost Endless Tunnel
I have found a variation on the endless tunnel in Red Faction. When blasting away at the floor sometimes a shard will appear projecting upward away from the floor. Crouch down and fire up at the shard and you will create a tunnel in midair. You will be able to see the tunnel from one side only and then see it in crossection. You can jump into it. After firing about 50 (or something like that) rockets into the wall you will reach a new type of wall that can't be penetrated.

Hidden Tunnel
After Parker's first encounter with Capek and he runs into the underground tunnel. After encountering and disposing of the first 4 reapers, stand next to the body of the fallen soldier, 1 enviro kit and the 3 grenades and walk back toward the way you entered about 7 seconds walk, look down and notice a small hole in the floor of the walkway. You could just blast a hole in the floor and get in and use the "[fly-mode] heehoo" to get down there, but there is another way in without using the fly mode. After being attacked from behind with the grenades go back the way you came and dispose of the soldier with the rocket launcher. Hopefully, you must kill him before he uses all but 2 of the rockets, it will take 2 rockets to blast your hole in the side of the rock, or if you have a remote charge that is even better. Once you pick up your rocket launcher from the soldier, walk forward in the game again pass the entrance where you came in. There will be an indention on the rock wall along your right side and the canyon drops off on your left. There are lights on the other indentions but this one is empty {no light}. Aim your rocket launcher about 2 feet off the ground and about 4 feet to the right of the extruding rock wall corner and give 2 blasts. You will find another tunnel with 1 small reaper and 1 large reaper inside. Dispose of them quickly and proceed forward in your tunnel to find another dead scientist with an extra med kit and 6 remote explosives. This location is about 20-30 feet on the right hand side of the rock where you can hear the reaper thru the rock but can't see him. Helpful hint- listen closely to his growl and where it is the loudest at, that's where you blast. The blast will not kill the reaper you have to do it yourself. (thanks: Jeff Knight)
