Hints
NOTE: As their name suggests hints are not exactly Pirates of the Caribbean cheats, and are usually just simple (but very useful) tips on how you can unlock secret level, features, find hidden areas and such. Hopefully these will make playing Pirates of the Caribbean even more entertaining.
Fast Money
This requires a character with positive reputation and medium to high commerce level. Go to the first tavern you find and hire an officer. When the dialogue text comes up choose Isn't that to much? Keep selecting this choice until the amount you will spend for the officer is a negative number. Repeat this process until you have the desired amount. You can lower this amount by a max of 1000 at a time with a commerce of 10. (Each point of commerce equals 100 gold).
Run From Confrontation
If you run into a pack of unsavory characters, and don't think you can best them in battle, flee from them and go past the last point where the game loads. They will not follow.
Avoid Cannon Fire
If you get yourself into a bad position in a sea battle, and know ou're going to be blasted with serious cannon fire, there is a way to avoid it. When you see the smoke from the guns, quickly Sail To a different part of the ship and you should completely avoid the blast.
Easter Egg
When you first enter the Labrinth in the Incan Temple,Dannielle and Clement should make you go through the middle entryway. Keep going straight until you enter a different room. Go right(Keep an eye on the floor. You will see a skull and a sun. Follow the sun) If you went the right way, you will see a room with break in the wall, look on the floor and you should see a sun and a skull. As you enter the room, run into the right wall. You should go through the wall. Look at all of the portraits. Those are the Crew who had a part of the game (they helped make the game). Look on the floor, you will see the AKELLA logo.
