i never play multiplayers (lol)
they are never worth it, i find them a disappointing experience.
also mmo's suck, played them all but what a boring experience aka never-ending story crap..
If you don't have any actual friends in life to play it with, indeed, multiplayer doesn't have much lasting value.
It'll just constantly remind you what a friendless loser you are.
Anyway, you guys don't need to worry. Single-player experiences will always have their market, much the same way the PC gaming platform will always have a market. A minority market, sure, but a market nonetheless.
