| » All About Dark Ore on ActionTrip | |
Dark Ore is a space sim/1st person shooter game. The game involves building a space station, gathering materials, defending your station, attacking competitors' stations, and managing your money. The object of the game is to be the first person to reach $100 million dollars. You start with no money, but you have all of the station items needed to build a minimally operational station. Once you have your base station built, you will gather minerals for your first shipment order that goes to earth. In order to gather the materials, you must travel to your competitors' station areas, locate an asteroid of the correct mineral, chip off some fragments, and finally collect them by flying through them in your ship.
Once you've got the minerals, you need to get back to your station without being shot down. As you earn money, you can add generators, factories, docking stations, weapons, and much more. You will also be able to hire merc ships to do some of the dirty work for you. The stations themselves have some really awesome weapons.
