Dawn of Darkness Demo

Dawn of Darkness will take you into a world of industrial fantasy that blends magic, swords, demonic forces, and flintlock weapons into something very unique and original. Building on the foundation of Quake 2's classic gameplay, Dawn of Darkness will weave a tale tied to the levels and told in narrated cutscenes and interaction.

NOTE: Quake 2 is required to play this demo.

You play the role of Roarke the Merciless, an erstwhile war hero who has cast away the cold and remorseless ways of a warrior in favor of devoting his life to an adopted daughter named Sylmaril. Having lived quietly for years as a fisherman, Roarke suddenly finds himself and his child imprisoned by the invading forces of the Cheitan Empire ruled by Malek Taus, its Sultan, and his General, Weirus the Necromancer, who summons and controls armies of unholy creatures.

You will fight your way to freedom, seeking Sylmaril and finally the Sultan himself. You will face waves of soldiers and demonic warriors, plowing through their ranks with your Ancestral Sword and flintlock guns. Become Roarke as he crushes his foes in the name of liberation and vengeance.
