File Synopsis

Feel the rush of adrenaline as you step into true 3D cockpits of aircraft from the North African theatre of WWII. Every component is crafted to the highest detail - cockpit panels, aircraft weaponry, engine performance, flight physics, damage modeling, high fidelity audio, and so much more!

Experience intense low level air-to-air and air-to-surface missions that will have you flying through scorching desert canyons, over shadowy dunes, and through blistering sand-storms. Enlist for a full tour of duty with the United States, Great Britain, Germany or Italy.

Or, change countries at any given point for additional new experiences, and reshape the course of history forever. The fate of the desert battle is in your hands.

The Alpha Tech Release showcases multiplayer action, and will support up to 64 players via designated servers over the Internet, including via Havas Interactive's gaming service WON.net. Users will experience intense air-to-air dogfighting action, special effects such as machine gun muzzle flashes, bullet tracers, and upon hitting an enemy aircraft with a burst of machine gun fire, will even be able to see wingtips and pieces of the plane actually flying off and falling to the earth below.

There are three aircraft available in this early sneak peek including the Macchi MC .202 Folgore (rarely seen in flight sims), the Hawker Hurricane MIIc and the classic Messerschmitt Bf109e. Each aircraft has been meticulously designed and camouflaged. Each will provide a true 3D cockpit system, which allows for extremely smooth transitions, whether switching views, or using the slew mode for enemy tracking. This new cockpit system also provides a translucency mode for better situational awareness.
