| » All About Dizzyball on ActionTrip | |
Dizzyball is a cross between pool (demonstrating the physics of a ball against other surfaces), pinball (interactive panels), and golf (completing the course in the fewest number of strokes). Note: this game requires a good processor (at least 400mhz P3) and a recent OpenGL video card (e.g., TNT or GeForce); make sure you get the newest graphics drivers too. (What about some engine tweaking? - Ed.)
The goal is to get from start to finish in the fewest number of strokes, figuring out a puzzle of switches and force fields along the way. Use the mouse to position the cue's heading and pitch around the ball. Click the left mouse button to toggle heading/pitch. Hold and release the right mouse button to hit the ball. Use the panels and interative objects to your advantage to maneuver around the course and get to the flagpole finish.
