| » All About Killer Loop on ActionTrip | |
In Killer Loop the player takes control of a Tripod, a racer that rolls on friction-balls like those found in a computer mouse. Each Tripod is equipped with a Magneto-Kinetic engine that translates energy from beneath the raceway surface allowing the vehicle to move forwards, backwards and sideways. In addition each Tripod contains an Attach-Magnet. This allows the Tripod to stick to tunnel walls and perform loops, half-pipe and overhead manoeuvres.
The object of Killer Loop is to win. This is achieved by pilot skills and battle strategy. Along the raceway tracks and tunnels are various bonus items that will make your task easier and more exciting. By using the Tripods Attach-Magnet a pilot may climb tunnel walls to obtain valuable items. These items provide temporary speed, attack and defence boosts that are essential for victory.
There are two types of bonus in Killer Loop; particle fields on the raceway surface and pink pyramids that float on the track itself. Whilst yellow particle fields give power to your Attach-Magnet, green particle fields increase your Tripods speed. The hovering pink pyramids give either offensive or defensive bonus items such as rockets or mines. These you can use immediately or collect to obtain more powerful bonus like lasers or shields.
By driving through or over the bonuses, you collect the necessary supplies that are essential to win.
