Race against online opponents to score the most points and win the match. Collect star-shaped targets to earn points and grab power-ups to give you an advantage. Behind this deceptively simple multiplayer action/arcade game is an increasingly addictive strategy game. The fun begins as you earn points by aiming and firing your Orb at star-shaped targets with two simple mouse clicks. After you finish a few relaxing practice rounds the real challenge starts when you join the online lobby for a full-on multiplayer match with up to 10 players.

Try to collect the stars before your opponents do or grab any of eight zany power-ups like Freeze Frame or Curse of the Goober and use it to slow them down. Part of the strategy is learning how to play each course well by using the course elements like accelerators and teleporters to quickly move around the colorful 3D environments. There are tough decisions to make. Do you play it safe and take the Money Shot on the star closest to you? Or go for it and try for double points on that distant bonus star?

Each match is different and the fun never stops as you are pulled into an addictive, fast-paced race to earn the most points and move up in the global rankings!

Aug 18, 03 update: This v2.10 release adds a new Online Mode which allows Orbz players to compete against each other over the Internet or Local Area Network. Up to 10 players, including computer opponents called Botz, can join a Lobby where the matches will be coordinated by selecting the course to play, number of rounds in the match, and a per-round time limit. A world-wide ranking system is also available for those who wish to compete for the ultimate title of Orbz Champion. This demo is time-limited (60 min).
