| » All About Team Apache on ActionTrip | |
Team Apache is the ultimate 3D flying experience and certainly answers the prayers of all action combat fans who want a little more from their helicopter games.
Team Apache is easily the most realistic helicopter combat game you are ever likely to see.
With real-time weather and lighting effects, stunning 3D graphics, Team management and even network deathmatch or team play, Team Apache blows away anything the competition has to offer.
NOTE: If you have a CYRIX processor you will need the CYRIX patch(921K).This small fix addresses the problem with 'crackling', break-up of sound when playing under Windows 98 (although no problems have yet been reported with Windows 95 this will fix them should they arise). This installer has just placed a file into your \Windows\System folder which should be the same directory that holds the QMixer DLL file (you may want to check that this DLL is present). The problem has been fixed by telling the QMixer to only use samples at 22Khz and not to convert them. The other setting change required is to go into your Team Apache game and turn down the Sound Effects and Radio Message volume setting by two so that the volumes are both set to +three. You can then balance the volume out with the speaker volume on your PC's speakers. If you still experience problems please contact the respective product support unit in your territory. Click hereto donwload the sound patch (29K)
