It is now 20 years after the movie. NORAD is now heavily relying on supercomputers for much of its defense work.

In a top-secret project, the military supercomputer, the WOPR, has been re-programmed to create intelligent weaponry that will enable the military to take the human element out of war.

Through one of PROTIVISION games, the video game company now used as a front for the military, you break into the WOPR
,s military simulations.

You find that you have triggered a full-scale war against the WOPR
,s futuristic forces. As the simulations unfold, the future of the human forces is in your hands as you must stop the WOPR from resorting to nuclear weapons.

Unlike other combat games, units can move and face in any direction through a 3D engine that eliminates "tiles" and uses a new vector system, bringing a new level of realism to your troops.

Every unit, building, and environment is created in complete 3-D, creating battles so realistic, you will swear you are there.

Your battles will be fought in three dimensional landscapes which include 6 unique environments (alpine, jungle, desert, lowlands, pacific and urban) as well as dynamic real-time 3D weather effects such as snow, rain and sand storms.

The high resolution SVGA display, intense soundtrack, and realistic sound effects of WarGames will immerse you in the battle to an extent which you have never been before.
