File Synopsis
The v26498 patch fixes a lot of single-player and multi-player bugs, adds two new items (a Gold Ioun stone and a Silver Ioun stone), and adds a new feature to the Adventure Mart in Shadows of Amn. The patch readme file contains a listing of all the updates or visit here.
The v26499 BETA patch fixes a particular issue with the v26498 patch. If you are having a problem with save and load times noticeably increasing, this patch should resolve the bug. It is applicable to all language versions of the game. To repair a slow saving/loading saved game, first apply the beta patch, then start the game and load the affected save. Resave your game and future saving/loading times should take the normal amount of time.
