Gears of War 2 review
Technologically superior to practically every 360 release, GoW stood proudly atop the throne of action games for a long time. Besides amazing visual quality and high production values, this game had quite a lot to offer gameplay wise; not the least of which is the game's cover mechanics...

Gears of War is by all means as over-hyped as they come. That really shouldn't stop you from playing it. The Xbox 360 version is one hell of a ride and we really enjoyed the subsequently released PC edition too. If you haven't played either of them we wholeheartedly recommend you do so...

MS Sells 28 Million 360s
Microsoft is boasting that the company sold more than 28 million Xbox 360s since the console's launch in November 2005, reports LA Times. According to MS execs, that means they overshot Sony's PlayStation 3, which shifted 20 million since its debut in November 2006.

Gears of War 2 Sells 2 Million
Epic Games and Microsoft announced that weekend sales of the X360-exclusive shooter Gears of War 2 reached 2 million units worldwide. “We were so excited to launch ‘Gears of War 2’ on the same day all around the world, something virtually unheard of in the games business,” said Cliff Bleszinski, design director at Epic Games.
