PS3 Ready to Hit Europe - Launch Date and Line-up Revealed
SCEE announced the PS3 console will launch throughout Europe on 23rd March 2007 at a price of £425 (UK) and €599 (elsewhere). The company also confirmed that, initially, only the 60GB model would be available, with the 20GB model to follow later in the year dependent on demand.

Splinter Cell: Double Agent v1.02 Released
The ladies and gents at Ubisoft have released a new patch for their latest Sam Fisher game, Splinter Cell: Double Agent. In addition to brining a number of multiplayer fixes, the patch finally squashes the issue of "missing unlockables," where items unlocked by finishing a mission would not be available in the following missions.

Finally, PC gamers will get the chance to step into the boots of everyone's favorite NSA operative, Sam Fisher, as Ubisoft announces that Splinter Cell: Double Agent, the fourth title in the Splinter Cell series, has gone gold and will be hitting retail outlets in North America on November 9.

Splinter Cell: Double Agent?
Saw over on Bluesnews.com that Splinter Cell HQ has dug up some info on the possible subtitle for the next Splinter Cell game. Their assumptions are based on a deleted forum post suggesting "Double Agent" will be the name, and follow-up post about the discovery of a trademark filing by Ubisoft, also for "Double Agent.
