Several days after launch and Funcom's MMORPG Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures already surpassed 400,000 subscribers and according to the developers that's still short of their designed server capacity, which is 600,000 - 700,000 subscribers.

NIMF's Report Card Criticized by ESRB
National Institute on Media and the Family (NIMF) gave the games industry a "C" in its annual Video Game Report Card. Amongst other findings, the Institute calls the industry an "ominous backslide," indicating a 42% success rate of children purchasing M-rated games.

Funcom and Eidos are saying that more than 100,000 gamers signed up for the Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures Beta over the Easter holiday. Funcom's also proudly claiming that within the first 24 hours of the beta announcement more than 50,000 gamers signed up to test the game.
