When the development studio Irrational Games got acquired by Take-Two Interactive the studio's name was changed to 2K Boston. GameInformer reports that "the team members recognized a value in the previous identity and the legacy that was tied to it.

Irrational has officially announced the sequel to their superhero tactical RPG, Freedom Force, entitled Freedom Force vs. the Third Reich. When in doubt pit some superheroes against Nazi villains and you have a winner! People love kicking the crap out of Nazis! Still, we all like their tight leather boots, or is that just me.
