Variety is reporting on new developments in the production of the Prince of Persia movie. Disney and producer Jerry Bruckheimer have made an offer to Mike Newell to direct "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time," a live-action feature based on the videogame.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Site Live
Not a lot of gamers are talking about the next Prince of Persia game, but I think all that will change once they get a chance to play it. From what I've seen of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time so far, the game has probably the most fluid character animation I've ever seen.
