Homeworld to Return?
Rumor has it that we might see a new addition in the popular sci-fi real-time strategy license, Homeworld. According to a forum thread (which, surprise, surprise, isn't loading), a document was uncovered, indicating that publisher THQ bought the rights to the Homeworld franchise from Sierra.

Star Wars: Empire at War in Spring 2006
Word on the Lucas Arts site is that their flagship Star Wars RTS, Star Wars: Empire at War has been delayed. The game was originally supposed to come out this fall, but it looks like the devs will need a couple of more months to polish things up.

TheForce.net is reporting about yet another Star Wars RTS in the works at Petroglyph, Star Wars: An Empire at War. According to what was printed in PC Zone UK, An Empire at War will feature a HomeWorld style of play with space combat in addition to ground battles.

THQ really wants Relic. Really, really wants them considering they're paying over 8 million dollars in just good will money... Publisher THQ has revealed that it will pay close to $10 million in total to acquire Vancouver-based real-time strategy specialists Relic Entertainment.

Those wonderful, remarkable human beings over at Sierra have put up the Homeworld 2 website. It looks incredible, and makes my heart go pee. I'd suggest taking a look at the models they have up, they're a huge graphical improvement, but they still maintain the original aesthetic.
