Today's Controversy: Sony Online Entertainment Hacked, Credit Card Information Stolen, Service Offline
It just gets worse and worse for Sony. Now Sony Online Entertainment, the service behind Everquest, Planetside, Star Wars Galaxies and the like (the like being games released within the last five years, I hope) has now been taken offline and the account information has been compromised.

Planetside: Core Combat Ships
Planetside's expansion has launched, you can expect to be playing this baby soon, I mean, it's sort of odd that any would go buy it at the store when they can download it, and it's pretty obvious that the people that play Planetside are pretty inclined to have broadband (The beta was lag city).

As it was expected Sony Online Entertainment is hard at work on adding new content to PlanetSide. The official site for the game includes a list of changes and additions that will be made in the next couple of weeks, including details on "Facility Link Benefits," new vehicles, advanced hacking, orbital strikes, EMP blasts, and more.
