Interestingly, Sony has launched a website where Playstation 3 owners having issues with some of their old PS 2 games can seek help. Or from what I can gather (as the site is in Japanese), simply find out whether a PS 2 game works on the Playstation 3.

Final Fantasy XII Gets Perfect Score in Famitsu
Why do console game reviewers have this lousy tendency to give perfect scores to video games? The more cynical amongst us will say because there's more money in console gaming (as opposed to PC gaming), so the payoffs are higher, and well, I'd agree with ya.
