Battlefield 3 is a first-person shooter with some strategy and RPG elements. Players fight in a modern battlefield, using modern weapon systems. The single player features missions that involve clashes between US Marines, China and the fictional Middle Eastern Coalition. The multiplayer aspect of the game allows players to organize into squads that come under the leadership of a single commander to promote teamwork.

FIFA Street Still Best in UK, Portal 2 Still King on Steam

Battlefield 3 Won't Be Sold Through Steam
There's a post on the EA Forums, confirming that DICE's upcoming shooter Battlefield 3 won't be distributed via Valve's Steam service. Apparently, this is due to the terms of service conflict and the fact that people will be able to purchase DLC from within the game.
