Anyway, Sega officially confirmed that Creative Assembly, the dudes responsible for the Total War strategy series, are currently involved with a new game Alien game, which they are beefing up for a full triple-A style release (oh lovely, things don't get more original than that).

Dead Space 2 Prequel Announced
Okay, so it won't be a full game obviously. Having a full game released before Dead Space 2 is just too much to ask. Anyway, this is just DLC that's going to be available this Fall on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade prior Dead Space 2's January 25, 2011 release.

Dead Space 2 Dated, New Screens
Visceral Games and EA uncovered that Dead Space 2 will hit PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on January 25, 2011, in North America. It appears that the original's central character, Isaac Clarke, returns to fight against the "dementia" as he makes his way through necromorphs in the abandoned "full city" of The Sprawl.
