Syndicate Announcement at GamesCom
After a series of reports, which have been going on for a few years now actually, it appears that Starbreeze (creators of the action adventure The Darkness) might be involved with the development of a brand new Syndicate game (supposedly published by EA) and that we might learn more during this year's GamesCom festivities.

The Darkness 2 Announced
2K Games has announced that the development of The Darkness 2 has kicked off and that the game is on its way to Xbox 360, PC and PS3 platforms. The project has been handed over to Digital Extremes and will once again portray events and characters from Top Cow Productions' horror themed comic book series.

National Institute on Media and the Family (NIMF) gave the games industry a "C" in its annual Video Game Report Card. Amongst other findings, the Institute calls the industry an "ominous backslide," indicating a 42% success rate of children purchasing M-rated games.
