Gran Turismo Set For November 24
Yes, that's right. Gran Turismo 5, the long-awaited racer for PS3, gets an official release date (yet again), hopefully for real this time. The game was supposed to be released, but Sony had to postpone the launch, with Gran Turismo 5 creator Kazunori Yamauchi apologizing for the delay.

Gran Turismo 5 Date Uncertain... Again
Racing enthusiasts have been waiting forever for Sony and Polyphony Digital to complete Gran Turismo 5 and now it appears that instead of launching during Spring 2010, which was the previously set launch date, the game has been delayed indefinitely (thanks CVG).

Sony Sells 3.8M PS3 Units During Holidays
Sony announces that during the holidays retail sales of PS3 during the five weeks following the last week of November 2009 exceeded 3.8 million units worldwide, which represents a 76% increase in hardware sales compared to the same period last year (the highest record sales for PS3 for a holiday period).

During its first day on the UK market Grand Theft Auto IV sold over 609,000 copies (in both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 variants). The latest info, coming from Chart-Track, shows that the incredibly popular action adventure shifted 926,000 copies after five days in retail stores across the United Kingdom.

GC 2007: Media Update
It's another crazy day here at Leipzig and I've just returned from Atari's presentation of The Witcher. The game developers, CD Projekt, have almost wrapped things up and I was able to find out more about the main character, combat and the setting of the game.
