"Bionic Commando" Makes a Comeback
Capcom revealed that they are remaking their video game classic, Bionic Commando. This one is being prepared for the PS3, X360 and PC. Simply entitled Bionic Commando, this new game is going to feature the traditional grappling hook, which was a crucial gameplay element in the original (first released back in 1988).

Shacknews.com has published a few morsels of info on Quake 4 taken from the 10-page preview of the game featured in the November issue of PC Gamer. The November issue hits the newsstands on September 21, but is apparently already available to the subscribers.

This industry is wholly unreliable. Okay, Computer and Video Games has this story about how John Carmack said at the Game Developer's Conference that the next project is a Quake 2 Remix with new graphics and will have a really short development cycle and that Doom 3 will be out "really close; we'll be shipping it really soon now".

Anachronox Feature-length Movie Released
It's great that they've done this. Ion Storm's Anachronox (Tom Hall's baby) was a really good RPG with a great story. "Now the 2001 role-playing game's story lives on in a recently released movie that adapts the game's in-engine cinematics in a feature movie that runs two and a half hours.
