Right. The weekend was very much about this whole Spike VGA mania. Personally, I really hope Naughty Dog will do something interesting with their upcoming PS3-exclusive 'The Last of Us' and that the new Rainbow Six game turns out to be a solid tribute to earlier games (well, I guess I don't care much about that one, on second thought).

In a Q&A posted at GamesIndustry.biz, publisher Ubisoft reveals the company's best-selling franchises. Rayman games have topped 22 million. Tom Clancy games -- Splinter Cell, Ghost Recon and Rainbow Six -- together achieved sales 55 million units worldwide.

During its first day on the UK market Grand Theft Auto IV sold over 609,000 copies (in both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 variants). The latest info, coming from Chart-Track, shows that the incredibly popular action adventure shifted 926,000 copies after five days in retail stores across the United Kingdom.

It appears that the PC iterations of both Rainbow Six Vegas 2 and Assassin's Creed have been delayed. The PC edition of Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is now scheduled to arrive one month following the launch of the console versions (PS3/Xbox 360), which means April 15.
