Will Wright on Spore
Feast your eyes on the latest footage from Will Wright's Spore: God bless Will Wright. Spore looks sweet and all that. However, the one thing giving me that nice, warm feeling inside, is the music playing in the background - it's one of the tunes from SimCity 4: Rush Hour; that was an awesome game (still playing it from time to time).

If there's something I hate, it's when game publishers take a good old recipe and turn it into something modern and generic. Now, I know it's too early to make any judgments on this, but looking at these pics, I gotta say, I'm somewhat 'mehish' about the whole idea of simplified 3D graphics.

Sim City 4 Expansion Pack Announced
EA reveals that the first expansion pack for SimCity 4 is in development at the company’s Walnut Creek-based Maxis studio. SimCity 4 Rush Hour will allow players to have the ultimate level of control over their city’s transportation network by completely taking charge of roads, rail, air, waterways, and even vehicles.
