Normally, it wouldn't be such a crowded year if every publisher started to flinch at the mere prospect of their game losing money, so they thought it would me smart to avoid the Fall of 2009.

PS3 Ready to Hit Europe - Launch Date and Line-up Revealed
SCEE announced the PS3 console will launch throughout Europe on 23rd March 2007 at a price of £425 (UK) and €599 (elsewhere). The company also confirmed that, initially, only the 60GB model would be available, with the 20GB model to follow later in the year dependent on demand.

In addition to brining a number of multiplayer fixes, the patch finally squashes the issue of "missing unlockables," where items unlocked by finishing a mission would not be available in the following missions.
