NIMF's Report Card Criticized by ESRB
National Institute on Media and the Family (NIMF) gave the games industry a "C" in its annual Video Game Report Card. Amongst other findings, the Institute calls the industry an "ominous backslide," indicating a 42% success rate of children purchasing M-rated games.

EA Sells 2 Mil. Copies of Harry Potter
Announcing its financial results from Q1 2008, EA boasts a gross profit of USD 229 million. Not bad, but still not good enough, according to EA. Net revenue for the quarter was USD 395 million, down four percent compared to the prior year sales of USD 413 million.
