Atari has officially announced TimeShift, the new FPS game from Saber Interactive, the guys that made the Serious Sam clone, Will Rock. Why on earth Atari would want to sign these guys is beyond me, because Will Rock certainly isn't a good game to have on your portfolio.

Gamespot has previewed a game that is yet to be officially announced. We can do that too. We'll preview Doom IV: It'll feature amazing, revolutionary, groundbreaking visuals and put the player in the role of a space marine who is all alone, without a flashlight, and surrounded by monsters who are leaping out of dark corners for no good reason.
