Nintendo & EA Conquer July Console Sales
The latest console software and hardware sales have just come in (via NPD). Electronic Arts and Nintendo topped console software sales, with Wii Sports Resort selling over 500,000 units, NCAA Football 10 over 600,000 units in Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 variants.

GTA IV Sells Close to 1M in UK, Outsells Wii Fit
During its first day on the UK market Grand Theft Auto IV sold over 609,000 copies (in both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 variants). The latest info, coming from Chart-Track, shows that the incredibly popular action adventure shifted 926,000 copies after five days in retail stores across the United Kingdom.
