Useful Patches Worth Picking Up
Two new patches have been released yesterday that you might seriously consider picking up: First up is the Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory patch. The game is not yet readily available in stores and already a 77MB patch is out that fixes "game crashes" and other bugs.

DRIV3R Tops UK Charts With Strongest Launch of the Year
Who says fixing review scores doesn't pay? GameIndustry.biz reports: Atari's Driv3r has moved up five places to the number one spot in the UK software charts, recording the strongest sales week so far this year for a PS2 title and bettering the performance of both previous games in the series.

Ridley Scott and DRIV3R
The folks at Atari have hired Ridley Scott's (of Alien, Gladiator and Black Hawk Down fame) production company to make a short three-minute live action flick based on their upcoming vehicular action hit, DRIV3R, to be used in an extensive marketing and advertising campaign for DRIV3R being launched globally by Atari, beginning in late January.

DRIV3R (Driver 3) Gets A Superb Cast - No PC Version Yet?
Atari signs a blockbuster Hollywood cast to lend voices to its action driving game, Driver 3, scheduled for release in Spring 2004. Atari's press release unveils that this cast will include big Hollywood names such as Michael Madsen, Ving Rhames, Mickey Rourke and Michelle Rodriguez, who all play lead roles in the game.
