Electronic Arts disclosed the official release date for the forthcoming action game Mercenaries 2: World in Flames. Mercs 2 is being created by Pandemic Studios, the same team that worked on titles like Full Spectrum Warrior, Destroy All Humans and Star Wars Battlefront (1 and 2).

The news is coming via TVG. It would appear EA decided to postpone the release of Mercenaries 2: World in Flames. According to the report, "a UK representative at EA confirmed that whilst an exact date hadn't been finalised, '[we] can confirm it will be next year.
