Besieger Demo
Today's another good day for demos, though they are not as high profile as say, the Thief: Deadly Shadows demo. In any case, DreamCatcher has released a demo for the their upcoming RTS game set in a medieval fantasy world with magic and mythical animals called Besieger.

None of this has been confirmed yet, but we're getting reports from left and right (as are other gaming sites) that around 20 to 25 employees have left Austin-based developer Ion Storm, the dudes that brought us the Deus Ex games and Thief: Deadly Shadows.

EIDOS has just informed us that Thief: Deadly Shadows has gone gold and should hit retail stores across North America on May 26. The good news is we've already received our gold copy, so we should have a nice little hands-on preview up today or tomorrow, along with lots of shots.

Deus Ex 2 Mod Tools Die in Chemical Fire involving Deadly Soda!
Deus Ex 2 has just had an interesting development: There will be no SDK. Really. The mod kit is now dead. Dead I tell you! Dead!!! Now, this is more bizarre than a porcupine dancing the tango with a halogen lamp in a quilt while making sweet porcupine love to a nearby dictionary, but somehow it all makes sense.
