A Lot Of People Working on Epic Mickey 2

Remember Epic Mickey? Yes, that one. Well, it appears that a sequel is well under way and that there are over "700 people around the world working on [the game] now," as Warren Spector revealed to GamesIndustry.biz.
There is no official info or media on the game yet, although it has been whispered around the Web that the game is going to feature co-op, with one player controlling Mickey while the other controls Oswald the Rabbit.
Hm, 700 people working on one game. That's amazing. And to think that all it took was one programmer with one hell of an imagination... But those days are clearly behind us. Now, it's all about masses making game for the masses. Isn't it?

Reply A lot of Disney people worked on John Carter as well. And they certainly didn't have any trouble chewing through it's huge budget either. |

Reply So is that 300 marketing guys, 100 supervisors, 100 managers, 50 vice presidents, 20 directors, 10 CEO's, a couple security guards, a few limo drivers, a few personal chefs, a couple fluffers, and a couple of programmers? |

Reply More like 697 marketing guys, 1 director, 1 artist, 1 programmer. |

Reply And STALKER 2 will still struggle to get developed and release. No doubt it will, if finished, be better than any game Disney could ever develop. |
