Assassin's Creed 3 PC Dated
Ubisoft has confirmed that the PC edition of Assassin's Creed 3 will be available on November 20 in the US. Meanwhile console versions (PS3/360) are set to arrive a month earlier than that.

Assassin's Creed 3 is a game we're looking forward to very much. Assassin's Creed 2 is one of the best games are around and we hope Ubisoft has created a new installment that will do justice to its excellent predecessor.

Did Ubisoft ever stop that DRM bullshit in Assassins's Creed 2? I still haven't played it yet.

I only ever played AC 1 and 2, didn't play the other ones. AC 2 was good in that it was a lot bigger than the first, but to be honest there were things I preferred in the first game. In the first game you had to go around hunting for information about your target, finding out where they'll be and when the best time to strike will be, the evil things they are doing, and so on. The game made you feel like the target was a bad person who deserves to die. After assassinating them, you felt some sense of justice being served. The second game lacked that intimacy. I still enjoyed the second but I never cared or had any feelings towards any of the targets. I went around assassinating them simply because a marker on my map told me to do so. The gameplay in the second was a big improvement over the first. Like there wouldn't be those odd occurances in the second where you'd jump at a wall at an odd angle and the character would not grab onto it, etc. The controls and maneuvering across buildings and such felt a lot better. The various puzzles to solve and so on made for a good addition to the game too. As I said I just much preferred how the first game revolved around few people and gave you more depth to those people, while the targets in the second were a lot more in quantity but most were not memorable at all and I had no reason to feel anything for them. In the first game, you'd have a lengthy chat with the target before they passed on, and they'd talk about how they thought that what they were doing wasn't bad and they have no regrets etc. In the second game, you were lucky to get 1-2 sentences of any relevance out of the target before they died, which also added to me not caring at all. Lastly, I much preferred Altair as a character and his voice/one liners, over Ezio who kinda bored me. Both were great games in their own right but I had to play the second one as "this is different game with the same controls", rather than "this is a sequel". I am much looking forward to the third game though.
Chunder: You might like to check out Assassins Creed Brotherho…
Reiko: Thanks I will check it out. :)

Go suck a tailpipe, Ubi.

Also: "Assassin's Creed 2 is one of the best games are around..."

"...best games are around..."

"... are around..."

I just hope Ubishit can put some R&D resource into "porting" technology before they sell more PC games.
