Ubisoft already discussed the possibility of Assassin's Creed 3 being set during World War 2 era. First time they mention it, they regarded the idea as pointless. Now, it looks as thought they're changing their stance. Assassin's Creed Brotherhood producer, Vincent Pontbriand told GamesMaster mag that the setting might work.

"We have a couple of options [for AC3]. So far we've tried to take eras that had very important things happen in them that are known worldwide. So WW2 for example - we could have an Assassin's there. It would work. So you can draw a list of major events in history during the last 5,000 years and those could be our choices!"

	Reply Enough of the everlasting WW2 theme... Why not the first one ? Or Napoleon era ? Japan theme would be nice, and would add a stealth thing :) Playing a ninja girl, who has trained by herself to become the best known ninja ever ! (it is welle known that females are the bests killers, on the road also :p )

	Reply The Saboteur already covered WW2. I'd prefer a Victorian era setting set in London. There's plenty of cool elements from that era that could be incorporated into the game's storyline and mythology. Things like Jack the Ripper, Charles Darwin, Spring Heeled Jack, Scotland Yard etc.

	Reply ww2 setting may be interesting. still... in previous installments the history was somehow rewritten. with current speculators and revisionists it's not the best theme to reshape. plus you have to be extra gentle with the victims. it sucks when you can't make the game the way you want it to be made. i'm still waiting for a modern era assassin's creed. i tell you - desmond has that white hoodie for a purpose. let him roam in NY or wherever...

	Reply One day I made a cake. It was really nice cake. I decided to share this delight with other people, so I took it to my friends dorm. However an unexpected thing happened - when I took my eyes away from the cake, for about an hour, cause I've been shagging your girlfriend, it was gone. Who could've done such dastardly plan? I resorted to shouting at people. I even stole somebodies vacuum cleaner. But the result remain the same - the cake was gone, nowhere to be found. Now that I look back at it, I see that some assassin plot could have taken place, therefore I suggest that next assassin creed be set in that turbulent time. And I want my royalty.
